I have often talked about REAL PHOTO postcards and the current high demand for them after years of neglect. Today I want to share a great real photo post card, often abbreviated "RPPC", that sold as soon as I listed it and had a great additional piece of information with it. This is a 1918 real photo postcard of the interior of a postcard store in Sag Harbor New York with two post card racks in the center, a candy counter on the left, souvenirs on the right and the owner(s) posing for the picture.
And if that isn't enough to get a postcard collector excited, I was lucky enough to get the manufacturer's invoice for producing the postcards. This great extra piece of information shows the company that made the postcards, the name of the owner of the postcard store, location of the store and the price paid of $0.155 each for 1500 postcards. It just doesn't get much better than this! Even though this postcard has been sold, I have 10,000 additional postcards on my website Moody's Postcards.
CATCH POSTCARD FEVER!! Fun beyond belief.
