Today's post card falls in the unusual category even though the setting is in a church. Pictured is a "Ski Mass" at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church in North Conway New Hampshire probably in the 1940s. I counted at least 14 sets of skis attending but I am not sure if the skis were necessary to get to church or if their owners are there for a little extra accident insurance. Either way, attendance is good and that is what is important. This postcard just sold but I have over 10,000 other postcards on my website Moody's Postcards. Catch postcard fever and expand your horizons, tickle your grey matter or just see what your home town looked like 50 or 100 years ago.
